TOP : 4 Name : Gary Valenciano About : He is considered as the Best Male Performer by the Awit Awards for 11 times and also Philippine's first national ambassador for UNICEF. Currently he is fighting diabetes. Some of his most popular songs are Di Bale Na Lang, Eto Na Naman, Sana Maulit Muli, Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos?, Gaya ng Dati, Pasko Na Sinta Ko, and Narito.








TOP : 3 Name : Nicanor Abelardo About : He was known for his compositions of Kundiman songs. Two popular buildings here in the Philippines were named after him, the College of Music in University of the Philippines, and the main theater of CCP or Cultural Center of the Philippines which is known as Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo. Some of his song compositions are Nasaan Ka Irog, Magbalik Ka Hirang and Himutok.

His compositions greatly affected all Filipino songwriters and singers to write and sing music using their own style or identity. He also founded the famous 1990s singing group Smokey Mountain. He is also the conductor of the disbanded San Miguel Philharmonic Orchestra and San Miguel Master Chorale until 2007. Some of his popular OPM compositions are Tuwing Umuulan at Kapiling Ka, Iduyan Mo, Kahit Ika'y Panaginip Lang, Paraisong Parisukat, Tunay na Ligaya and more.
