For this top ten article we listed and picked some of the top 10 Filipino musicians of all time. Filipinos are very talented when it comes to singing. We are not only locally acclaimed when it comes to singing but also worldwide. We now have Arnel Pineda who became the lead vocalist singer of the famous band Journey. We also have Charice Pempengco who became the second Filipino singer to be able to sign an international record. But the mentioned singers above are not yet included for this top 10. TOP : 10 Name : Ely Buendia About : He is the former guitarist and lead vocalist of the popular band Eraserheads for 13 years. Currently he is also the lead vocalist of the band Pupil. Known for songs such as Ang Huling El Bimbo, Alapaap, With a Smile, Ligaya, Pare Ko, and many more. His music together with his former band Eraserheads are still, very popular today and really influenced many music lovers specially young people.
TOP : 9 Name : Yoyoy Villame About : I can say he is one of a kind musician ever lived here in the Philippines. His music are all unique and very Filipino. Being a comedian he also brought his talent into his music, making his compositions very funny and relaxing to hear. Some of his popular music includes the Happy Birthday, The Teacher and the Pupils, Mr. Robot-bot, Buhay at Pag-ibig ni Barok, Butsekik, Gusot na Rin and more. He died on May 18, 2007 due to cardiac arrest.
TOP : 8 Name : Lea Salonga About : Lea is the first ever Filipino artist to be able to sign an international record. She is also considered as one of the best-selling Filipino artists of all time. She is popularly known for her role as Kim in Miss Saigon. And as of now she is one of the of the four coaches of the The Voice of the Philippines. Some of her famous songs are Sa Ugoy ng Duyan, The Journey, Disney Medley, I Am But a Small Voice, Mama and more. She also became the singing voice of Disney's Jasmine in Aladdin and Fu Mulan in Mulan earning her the title as a Disney Legend for the year 2010.
TOP : 7 Name : Rico Blanco About : He is one of the most influential musician here in the Philippines. He is not only a very good singer but he is also a talented actor. He is the former vocalist of the band Rivermaya and he is in the band for 13 years. Some of his famous OPM songs are Alab ng Puso, Kisapmata, 214, Ulan, Himala, Umaaraw Umuulan and more.
TOP : 6 Name : Pilita Corrales About : She is really a very talented musician who can sing Spanish, English, Cebuano and Tagalog music. She is named as the Asia's Queen of Songs. She was the first ever woman to make it to the Australian pop charts. And last 2012 she became a judge on The X Factor Philippines.
